Stay off the roads Panama! He's driving!!

It is official.  The Republic of Panama has given Elder Meine a license to drive.  As he put it his testing entailed the following:

1.  Give the lady some money
2.   What in lines for 3 hours
3.  Take a 10 question exam
4.   Park 3 times

That's it!!

Singing in Panama

Elder Meine was always singing when he was home.  He sang at home, in the car, in the shower, in classes, in concerts, even to ask girls out on dates.  We have missed his music in our home.  It is noce to see he is still singing!  (Not sure exactly what song he could possibly BE singing though).

AP

On January 6, 2016 Elder Meine was called as the Assistant to President Carmack.  Though he is nervous about the magnitude of this calling he is excited and eager to serve.  The mission received several new missionaries the very next day and he got straight to work welcoming them and training their trainers.

This is the face of one happy elder!!

Trying to get the Hermanas together for a photo

But have no fear.  This new responsibility has not changed him too much.  He is still our silly Hunter that we all love and miss!!

Posing with his new companion

What makes this selfie funny is that Elder Meine took this with the mission President's wife's camera.  She posted it on her blog!

Photos from his new area.  The Panama Zone, living now in Bella Vista.

La iglesia es verdad !

This is Elder Meine's guitar that he bought his first Christmas in Panama.  He has past companions and other missionaries sign it whenever he leaves an area.  It may have a few broken strings but it sure is a treasure!
