Never give up on what makes you SMILE!

So many great pictures from Panama this P-Day!

They are teaching the Mendoza family.  They are very poor and the ward is really helping in so many ways!!

The Mendoza family trying on donated shoes.

Camilla Perez a six year old we are teaching drew this picture of us and her family!

This wall art reads: Never give up on what makes you smile!!

So, Elder Meine has been gone 320 days as of TODAY (May 24, 2105).  The mission President's wife posts photos every Sunday and it is such a surprise to see Hunter in some of them.  Today I found him very easily in a group P-Day shot.  It only took me one glance.  Can you spot him???

A Baptism

For this week we had the baptism of Lorenzo!  Since day ONE he has been coming to church and reading the Book of Mormon and everything and he got baptized in the shortest amount of time possible.  We didn't have time to fill the font up all of the way so it took THREE tries to get him all the way under water!!

The Lord works miracles!

Some great news and photos from Panama this week.  Elder Meine is doing well and working hard!!
An investigator gave us a ride home in his work truck.
It was only a 5 minute drive but it was pretty awesome!!!

Elder Meine becomes a Father (AKA a trainer)

So in missionary lingo, when you become a trainer you are a "father".  Transfers were last week and Hunter got to stay in Vista Alegre (which is is so happy about) and is training a fresh greenie from California - Elder Mann.  Sounds like they have been working hard already!!

They Got to Watch Meet the Mormons!!

Elder Meine's mission was challenged by President Carmack to get 7,500 contacts in one week.
How many did they get?

This is super awesome because a few weeks ago they were averaging around 3,00 a week.  What a great group of hard working missionaries!!

You can see Elder Meine in the far back left trying to lift his head up to be in the picture!

Elder Meine is standing on the far left.  Not a close up picture this time but I will take what I can get!!!
