Temple trip and donuts!

This week Elder Meine's zone got a special trip to the temple and a zone meeting with the Mission President.  This was a reward for their success in contacting.  He even surprised them with donuts!

THE CHALLENGE:  Contact at least 80 LPE's and have 5 investigators or more progressing for the week.  An LPE is a contact where they teach 2 short principles, write down their information and put a day to return and ask for references.  It translates to : Lecciones para encontrar.

Service and a BAPTISM!

A really big service project this week!  Lots of moving dirt and hauling bricks to landscape a yard.  Then a taxi died and they figured, "Another service project!"  They happily pushed it up the hill.

Elder Henry's victory yell is pretty awe-inspiring!

Elder Varguez is TIRED!

Moving dirt!

Another great opportunity to serve!

Activity Week

This week Elder Meine's ward had a big activity.  Each organization in the ward made a booth and did a presentation.  He said it was a great success in that they had a large number of inactive members attend!

Getting our displays ready for the activity.

Our Plan of Salvation Board with Hma Osorio doing who knows what!

Our amazing First Vision Display
The Relief Society teaching people how to cook.  I did not get to go
learn anything as I was stuck at my display all day.
