Temples, new houses, buses and AIR CONDITIONING at last!!

Many events happened in Panama this past week!  We received so many pictures this P-Day it was wonderful!!

Bus Selfies on the way to the temple!

They paint the Darndest things on the Diablos Rohos here!

This week Elder Meine moved to a new house.  This one is in the center of his area so that as District leader he is closer to everyone.  The best thing about the new house?  AIR CONDITIONING AT LAST!!!

Our Mision President came to the temple with us to teach investigators and recent converts about the temple.

Violin playing at the temple.

Meeting so many people while serving here!

ONE YEAR!!

Can you believe it?  Elder Meine has served for one year!!  How did he celebrate?  Some of his favorite foods!
Apparently he also snagged a bag of Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips.  Any of you who know Hunter well, know that these are his most FAVORITE things!

Very happy!  These are tried and true IDAHO spud products!

What do Panamanian missionaries do on P-Day?  Wash moldy ties!!
Elder Meine is currently the District leader in Vista Alegre.  Every week he tells us how much he loves the people there!  He is teaching on young boy guitar lessons!  Being a missionary in Panama is the greatest blessing on earth!!

Another happy surprise came when I updated Elder Meine's Facebook friend requests!  Here he is playing peek-a-boo for the camera!!

Climb Every Mountain!

Lots of pictures this week to which I am glad because his e-mail was short.  Being a zone leader has really cut away at his time but he is serving well.

A pen bled through three layers of Elder Meine.

The Elders slept at our place Sunday night for our big P-Day hike.

As a zone we hiked up the Cerro Cabra and had our testimony meeting.

Hola from Panama!

Another great week has flown by for Elder Meine in Vista Alegre including lots of teaching, service and another baptism!

Riding in a tractor full of cement!

This Elder is from Tonga and speaks little English and even less Spanish.  But he came to work and he is incredible!  But we do have to reel him in a lot especially because he wants to eat the dogs here and sometimes he hits things too hard!  Hahaha

A dog in a backhoe

Eric Mendoza's baptism day.  The look on his face as he came up out of the water was pure joy.
